I don't know if this is a bug. Let me describe a bit here.

When I post one dcm files to localhost:8042/instances, files can be imported successfully and show inside. After that I use this file and send to remote modality, which is another orthanc server installation on another computer. Files can be received and displayed inside orthanc web portal. but the Dicom file stored is different. It cannot be converted to images (with dcmtk or imagicmagick, while the dcm files in first computer can be converted successfully). Under DCMTK, its saying on of the study instances is larger than remaining bytes in file. Under Imagemagick, it says Dcm file header error. I suspect the file was somehow modified by Orthanc Server when it was being sent out?

Thanks for your report, but we need a sample image to work on this. Please could you provide one?

Let me get back to you for this one later. Because the testing image I am currently using contains the name of my client. So I need to see if some other images can reproduce this issue.

But thanks for your reply so much.

No follow-up by the reporter for more than three years, closing the issue.
